Things to Do in Barsha Heights

 

Lock, Stock & Barrel

Rock out at a bar with a fun-loving vibe known for epic live music 3 nights a week, pool tables, telly screens and very decent pub grub. The have vegan options, a weekly roast dinner, a fabulous Friday brunch with all the party vibes and their ladies night is one of our favorites in town!

The Clavichord music lounge

Get cozy, where guests can enjoy a wide-range selection of food and beverages open daily from 5pm until 2am. They also have weekly comedy nights as well as live music, try out their cocktail list for some classics and some cocktails with character, our favorites are choco orange or old thyme honey daiquiri .

Ostro Cafe & Restaurant

Treat yourself to healthy hearty delights in a vibrant space. If you love a breakfast buffet then look no further for places to fuel up, expect Mediterranean and international dishes, choose from the all-day breakfast menu and enjoy organic, vegan and gluten-free options until late. Meet, share and work in a friendly space, or enjoy a relaxing shisha in an outdoor cabana.

Wise Kwai

You can’t expect a 5 star Dusit hotel without a decent Thai restaurant, here steps in Wise Kwai. Experience authentic Thai street food surrounded by a creative explosion of vintage cinematic culture. Explore a menu of colourful Thai dishes made from fresh ingredients and prepared by Thai chefs. Dine in style or learn how to make classic Thai dishes with one of their cooking classes.

Lila Cafe

Lila is a purple and white oasis that stands out amidst the high-rise surrounding buildings. Inside the cafe is bright and urban, like a revamped industrial space, and there’s a quirky moving image museum upstairs. They serve a homemade arabic inspired menu as well as shish, it’s cosy and casual but the grub is great.

Things to Do in The Greens

 

Lah Lah

Spend a lazy daytime or evening at Lah Lah, an edgy Pan-Asian kitchen and bar great for after work drinks, nights out and lazy lunches. Happy hour runs daily from 4pm-8pm and also one of the few bars in Dubai with Guinness on draft so lovers of this famous Irish ale can be found here. Lah Lah is dog and children friendly, the dress code is casual and the vibe is edgy and fun.

Zabeel House

Home to the Native Club, Dubai’s first organic spa offering bespoke spa treatments including luxury facials, detox seaweed wraps as well as sport specific massages. They also have a well equipped gym and outdoor pool if you want to make a day of it.

Namaste! Yoga House

Found in the heart of The Greens. Started just over three years ago it has quickly established itself and become one of the most highly respected centers in the city with some of the best quality of teaching. Suitable for people from all walks of life; from the advanced, to the beginners, the young and the old, the fit and the not so fit with the cute Arrows and Sparrows cafe just downstairs. They label themselves a Breathing Community where one can practice, connect and most importantly be themselves. The studio offers Yoga, Pilates and Meditation classes along with high intensity classes such as Barre, Power Pilates and other Fusions.

Organic Foods & Cafe

A family run company that runs organic supermarkets and cafés selling fresh organic and biodynamic food, supplements, skincare, cosmetics, baby items and household cleaning products. They have a gluten free bakery and it’s a great store to roam around with a great cafe attached. Their Friday brunches at the cafe have different weekly themes and their menu is amazing value for such premier ingredients.

Kinoya

This authentic Japanese place is easy to miss but offers an all-encompassing experience of atmosphere and food, by serving everyday Japanese dishes such as Donabe, Onsen Tamago, Dashi, Omurice, and many other authentic delicacies. Every aspect of Kinoya is curated to bring you a memorable experience, set to change the Japanese cuisine narrative in Dubai.

Vista del Verde

Al fresco hangout boasts views out across The Greens and is decked in traditional Mexican décor, mandalas, macramés, plus plenty of on-trend foliage (hello, Instagram). It’s laid back, street food inspired even down to the drinks menu, they have great vegan options although best enjoyed during cooler months as the outdoor area has an awesome vibe to it.
