So you’ve decided that on your next Dubai trip you’ll stay in the Springs or the Meadows (good choice!), struggling to find the best place to stay? Take a look at our holiday homes in the Springs and the Meadows and across Dubai! Now all you need to do is decide where to eat and how to make the most of your trip. Here are our top tips on what to do, where to eat and how to spend your time.

Things to do in The Springs

The Springs consists of 15 different sub-communities, each with a group of shared swimming pools, BBQ and picnic areas, children’s play parks and mini basketball and tennis courts.

The Springs Souk

houses an array of stores including Carrefour Market, Marks and Spencers and a pet shop. Not only can you get all of your amenities from here, but you can also visit The Warehouse Gym or watch a movie at the Reel Cinema complex. There is also an indoor play zone for children called Dig It, the perfect place to visit when when escaping the Dubai summer heat..

The Springs Souk is  also the home to a variety of  international restaurants that can cater from dinners with the family, right down to grabbing a quick coffee with a friend. Restaurants include Asia Tang, Carluccios, Lime Tree Cafe, Le Pain Quotidien and Crave Shack.

Springs 8 Pet Park

Voted as one of the best dog parks in Dubai, this exclusive pet friendly park is the perfect place for families to take their pooches for a walk. The park is open 24 hours and has a swing and play area for the children.

Reform Social and Grill

Located in The Lakes which is just a short drive from both The Springs and Meadows. RSG is the city’s first true gastropub and family-friendly restaurant based on one of Londons most vibrant venues. Visitors can choose to grab an English breakfast or get their roast dinner fix. There is also weekly events which include ‘Messy Play’ for the little ones and televised sports events for the adults!

Things to do in The Meadows

The Meadows Souk

is the hub of the local community and where residents can find all day to day essentials. The Souk is located on the corner of Meadows Drive and Springs Drive. The centre has a wealth of dining options as well as a large Spinneys and a choice of beauty salons. In addition, there is a jeweller, a pet shop, a Fitness First outlet as well as a variety of children’s shops.. Milk & Honey can also be found in The Meadows Souk providing residents with organic produce and sweet treats. Starbucks and Shakespeare’s café can also be enjoyed in the Meadows Souk, the perfect location for a catch- up lunch or coffee with friends.

The Meadows Village

A newly renovated retail centre and lifestyle destination. Retail outlets include British supermarket Waitrose, The clinic by Medcare, Fitness First as well as an opticians, pet shop and beauty salons.

Montgomerie Golf Club

Located next door to the Meadows. The 265 acre golf course consist of 123 acres of turf which include 14 lakes and 81 large bunkers. Visitors can also check out the Montgomerie club house, complete with a state of the art gym and pool that overlooks the 18th hole. In addition, the clubhouse also has 4 restaurants which all offer top notch meals and drinks.

The Orangery

Located at The Montgomery Academy with modern décor and elegant charm, The Orangery is simply perfect for that late lunch or more intimate dinner. It also offers an exceptional terrace with a stunning backdrop of the Montgomery driving range and Dubai’s iconic skyline. The Orangery will take you on a culinary journey ‘Around the World’ with a selection of worldly dishes and unique cocktails inspired by the travels of Phileas Fogg.

Phileas Fogg

Bar and restaurant also located at The Montgomery Academy. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the Marina skyscrapers. The globally themed menu offers a variety of choices such as Char Siu Pork Ribs, Moules Marinere and Pad Thai! The venue also features a fully air-conditioned play area and kids menu, making it the perfect places to take the family.
